The Cotswold Breeders Association is an organization formed to preserve and promote the breed, provide registration for all purebred Cotswolds, both white and colored, and provide information and support for mutual benefit of all members and breeders. Since the association was formed in 1995, it has issued certificates of registry for purebred Cotswold Sheep whose pedigree has been verified. CBA is recognized by the American Livestock Breeds Conservency and the American Sheep Industry Association as an official registry for purebred Cotswold sheep. The Cotswold Breeders Association is the only Cotswold Registry that traces information on colored Cotswold lines so the breeder can determine which lines have a higher chance of producing "pure" white or colored offspring. Each application for registration is carefully checked in order to provide the best pedigree information possible for our breed. CBA certificates show a three generation pedigree including color for the registered sheep. |
